AC Power supply

When performing electrical experiments, a regulable power supply, is necessary to ensure safe operation. My power supply has 2 AC outputs and 1 low voltage DC output. The main AC output can draw power directly from mains or from a variac (variable autotransformer). The output is protected with an electronic overload relay, a series variable impedance (needed to limit short circuit current), and a foot-operated safety switch to shut off the output.
